I am returning to New Orleans to re-unite with my old bandmates from "Thunderhead" to plan a reunion, and to do recording with some New Orleans musicians. "When we first started playing Sal's place, it started as a mellow subdued kind of gig. I think I was originally supposed to bring only congas or bongos. However, I brought my modified drumset and planned on using brushes the whole night. Naturally after half a dozen songs or so, the crowd wanted more than that. As you all know, it's blossomed into a full blown nite of classic rock 'n roll. Now... fast forward to today and we're playing our final gig at Sal's where we've all met lots and lots of true music lovers and made many, many friends. Basically, I just wanted to thank Sal for putting up with us all these years and also to thank Amy, Jamie, and all the waitresses that have been so gracious to us throughout our run at the Lamp Post. And of course how could we, or WHY would we do it without all of the Flamethrowers Band supporters who have always packed the place and spread the word about the band. Thank you!"
