To all my friends, fans and music lovers,

Bittersweet does not even come close to my description of our last night at The Lakeside. It was a very difficult decision for me to leave a band with such great chemistry, talent and spirit. When we began this journey, there was always the hope that it would progress to another level. Unfortunately, because “Classic Rock “appeals to a certain group, the larger venues would not gamble on us being able to draw  the crowds. 3 sets of high energy rock that the Flamethrowers were famous for, was hard for me to maintain. That coupled with the lack of venues and perhaps the economy, I made the decision to step aside. I will now pursue my original dream of recording and performing my own music and words, for better or worse, with my old friends in “Thunderhead”.

I hope that we have made you all think of some great and happy times in your life, when things weren’t so complicated, and your only concern was what concert or club you were going to next, which substances you would consume, and which tee shirt you were going to wear.

To jack, Fred, Sanman and Jim, I meant what I said about you being some of the best. I hope somehow you can continue to share your talents with these great fans. It was always a great feeling to sing a song, played with the same enthusiasm, no matter what the circumstances.

I will communicate with everyone thru the website, Facebook and email, so you will know what I am up to. Bruno has agreed to keep the website up just for that purpose. I cannot thank him enough for his commitment to us and that website. He never missed a beat or a photo-op and we appreciated it..

I love you all and will miss you!
